 I am so glad we managed to get some newborn photos taken in the chaos of having a new baby. I will treasure these photos forever.

NOTHING beats seeing Isla stare up at Keith. In the womb she used to kick when she heard his voice and she responds in the same way today. She will look for him when she hears his voice and will calm in his arms. I love their little growing relationship. It has been incredible seeing the man I love turn into a father. He is the glue that holds our family together and the calming presence that I have now come to need. These moments mean everything to me. I love my little tribe.

our first days with baby i were exactly what you would expect with a newborn plus more. SO much more. Needless to say we learned a lot and now we don't feel like we need to check to see if she is breathing every five minutes. She has grown so much already! I love looking at the photos from her first days with us.

We got a sweet welcome home from Deanna. She had pink balloons, chocolate, and flowers waiting for us when we arrived. My favorite gift was the lavender plant. Moms are the best.

They say you can't spoil a newborn, but we sure did try.
